these are the words just spoken by the meteorologist on channel 6:
"now, i don't want you to think we're going into some kind of ice age with all of this cold, rainy weather. just look at the map of the rest of the country. its near 100 degrees in texas, in the 80's in california, and beautiful and sunny in the south-east."
oh. super. that makes me feel so much better. not only are we enduring these dark, cold, drizzly days, but apparently we're the only ones. while everyone else in the country is frolicking through sprinklers in all their scantily-clad glory, i am bundled up in sweats watching the soggy yard through a window... for the fourth day in a row. but at least i'm not bitter. 5:39 PM //
