right now i am reading fear of flying, written by erica jong, on recommendation by my mom. this book is totally incredible... i recommend that all women read it (men: you read it too and try to learn something about us). it was published in 1973 (i think - it could be plus or minus a year), and as a women reading it in 2003, i find myself blushing at parts. so many four letter words. so much blatant sex. so much honesty about her own neurotic tendencies. i'm only about half way done as i have to squeeze it in between reading for my classes, but i'm definitely finding it hard to put it down. why didn't i ever hear of this little gem before? anyway - go read it. 2:57 PM //
