for some reason, i've been getting a lot of these survey things lately... this one was particularly long, so i never sent it out. but i figured i would post it here so everyone can learn all about me (just what you wanted, i know) and to save in posterity the person i am today.

FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: well, my major is english, so i will go with that.
LEAST FAVORITE SUBJECT: definitely math; although i always did relatively well, it drove me crazy... i hate anything that makes me feel that clueless.
FAVORITE MOVIE: any of the askewniverse films by kevin smith (clerks, mallrats, chasing amy, dogma, and jay and silent bob strike back); and my guilty pleasure is bridget jones's diary.
FAVORITE TV SHOW: gilmore girls (no, in fact i am not 12... shut up) and the whole nbc thursday night scene.
FAVORITE ICE CREAM ben & jerry's heath bar crunch (or coffee heath bar as a compromise with adam).
DO YOU DO ANY DRUGS? definitely no.
HOW LONG ARE YOU IN THE SHOWER? i guess between 10 and 15 minutes, depending if i'm in a hurry or not.
FAVORITE SCARY MOVIE: i'm not a fan of scary movies, lol. i had to turn off scream in the middle and finish it in te morning because i was too scared (and yes, i do realize that it is a parody - not even an actual scary movie).
FAVORITE FOOD: something italian.
WORST FEAR: losing someone that i love.
FAVORITE COLOR: i can't pick just one; i think i tend toward earth tones, but it all depends on what you're talking about.
BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD? a nice warm shower after being outside in the cold, then having some hot chocolate. :-)
WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD? knowing that i've disappointed someone i care about.
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT: lust at first sight, sure...curiosity, and such... but love comes with talking and sharing your thoughts and feelings...you can't base love on something as shallow as a glance.
ABORTION: there is a time and a place for everything... obviously abortion is not a form of birth control, but i would hate to be the one to tell a woman who was raped by her father that she has to carry that child.
TEENAGE SMOKING: um, its bad. what kind of question is this?
EATING DISORDERS: again, its bad. i think everyone's felt bad about their bodies (some more than others) but to feel that the only way to feel better is by harming yourself must be a terrible low.
MARILYN MANSON: i can admit that i own an album or two.
GUY BANDS: although i can't deny the guilty pleasure of n'sync, i generally have to disagree with this entire category.
DEATH: um, i'm against it??? actually, i have to say that death scares the piss out of me. i can only hope that by the time i'm old enough to face it, i will be ready... because right now, i know i would be terrified.
TITANIC: i'm a total sucker for a sad movie that can generate a good, solid cry... i saw it three times in the theater *blush*.
JERRY SPRINGER: no need. did you hear he's thinking of running for senate???
SUICIDE: can't understand it...but i feel sorry for those who are so sad that they think thats the only answer... i hope i never feel that kind of pain.

BELIEVE IN HEAVEN AND HELL? i have to believe that there is something beyond our lives on earth. i'm not really sure what it is, but i need to hope i will somehow exist beyond these few years i am here.

BELIEVE IN ALIENS? it would be pretty egocentric for us to believe that we are the only intelligent life in an infinite universe. do i believe that e.t. and his buddies come down and anally-probe farmers in the midwest? no, no i don't.

BEEN IN A CAR ACCIDENT: nothing serious. i did a little slidey-thing into the back of an old farm truck during a snow storm a few winters ago, but didn't do any real damage.
